Two former members of the popular band This Romantic Tragedy have started a new clothing company named ReInvent Apparel. The new company is introducing its first four designs this week featuring the ReInvent logo designed and created by Kyle Huender. Co-owner/investor of the Company is former TRT keyboardist Gabe Centeno. Kyle was a founding member and guitarist for This Romantic Tragedy and co-wrote much of the band’s first three CD’s and has created the bands artwork, logos and designs. Kyle also runs Uprise Art and Design and Uprise recording, and has designed logos, T shirts, posters and CD artwork for several bands . Now he focuses on the ReInvent clothing line that carries the positive message of peace, hope and love to make the world a better place. We asked Kyle to reiterate on the ReInvent Movement: “The message is simple”, he Says, “Reinvent is here to make a difference in this world. We’re starting small but the goal is to spread a positive message of trying and getting people to reinvent and change their ways, to strive to make a difference and to better themselves and to make this world a better place to live in.” Gabe concludes: “Our hope is to eventually to help give back to communities and lead by example promoting such ideas as breast cancer awareness, supporting the troops, raising money for natural disaster relief, focusing on helping the less fortunate.” ReInvent Yourself! This Romantic Tragedy CD Release show @ Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas May 1st.
Las Vegas Hardcore act This Romantic Tragedy is currently on tour with Memphis May Fire, Us From Outside and Too Late The Hero on the Hollow Tour. The event will roll through Vegas on May 1st at Hard Rock Cafe on the strip (next to MGM by the giant Coke Bottle), when Las Vegas receives its first look at The new Light show that accompanies This Romantic Tragedy’s show. The band has recently released three singles from their upcoming full Length CD “Reborn” for Tragic Hero Records. The CDs official release is May 10th but the band will have the CD available for purchase at the Vegas show. “The response to the new songs has been incredible”, says singer Sean Neumann, “We are really blessed to have such wonderful fans”. “The new album is somewhat of a concept CD, the songs inter-relate and are attached to each other by spacey interludes, it is funny how different people read different scenarios into the music”, says David Diaz. “We have had anything from 9/11, to Alien Invasion to the End of the Earth, we let the fans believe what they want to believe. We recorded in Jersey with the New York Skyline a constant reminder.”
This Romantic Tragedy began the hollow tour on April 8th and have played mostly the eastern and southern states before they came to California and Nevada. The tour will end in Oklahoma on May 6th. The new CD will be released on May 10th. The three singles: “Among the Brave”, “The Great Beast” and the CD’s title track “Reborn” are available on iTunes. This Romantic Tragedy was founded in 2007 by guitarists David Diaz and Kyle Huender. They have singer Sean Neumann and screamer Chad Dague, drummer Mark Neuhardt and bassist Evan Ellis in the band.
Concert Review TRT-PR April 16, 2011
This Romantic Tragedy wows crowd with spectacular Light show. This Romantic Tragedy is hitting the road this spring with The Hollow Tour with Memphis May Fire and Us From Outside. The Las Vegas hardcore unit will be releasing their first full length CD on May 10th but the band has been around since 2007 and has three highly praised EPs to their credit. Although the band is very popular on the west coast, the rest of the US has not seen much of the band, this undoubtedly will change with this tour, and This Romantic Tragedy is making sure that they are remembered. They are packing a tight run show full of hardcore breakdowns, and soaring vocals, and a note by note lightshow that accentuates their every note played.
The well-rehearsed set reflects the intenseness of their new somewhat concept CD, with dueling guitars by band founders Kyle Huender and David Diaz that offer spacious harmonies and jackhammer breakdowns, accented by the thunder of the rhythm section of drummer Mark Neuhardt and bassist Evan Ellis, the band sets a hardcore precedence. Screamer Chad Dague pours out all emotions while Sean Neumann Vocals soar high above clear as a bell, this guy can sing. The band moves around in unison enhanced by a wall of lights that blast from the back, on occasion blinding the audience to accentuate the moment. But each light is programmed to hit the right note, and they dance around setting the mood, with blacklights, strobes and yes even lasers and fog. This is the hottest show and performance I have seen in a long time.
This Romantic Tragedy is on the Tragic Hero label. The Hollow Tour runs through May 6th.

This Romantic Tragedy Recording Update
This Romantic Tragedy is concluding their final week at the Machine Shop recording Studio in Weehawken New Jersey, where the band is recording their first full-length album for their record label Tragic Hero records. This is quite an experience for the young band from Las Vegas, Nevada. They traveled for five days across the United States while sleeping overnight in Walmart parking lots. The cross-country trek took them from Vegas, to Albuquerque, St Louis, Missouri, New Mexico, Dayton Ohio where they had a photo shoot with Rick Wait, and through Pennsylvania to New Jersey. Upon arriving there was a short delay getting into the studio and a house that was rented by the label for their extended stay. The band had to spend a few more days at a Walmart Parking lot; a common spot for overnight parking for all touring bands. The studio is located close to the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel, and offers exquisite views of the New York and Manhattan skyline. “We are extremely blessed to be able to record here and have this view, and our Producer Wil Putney is making us sound sooo sweet”, says guitarist Kyle Huender.
By week three the band has finished tracking drums and most of the bass and guitars are done, also programming and Keyboards are complete. It is time for singers Sean Neumann and David Diaz and screamer Chad Dague to lay down their vocals. The threesome have been busy writing lyrics being inspired by the trip to the East Coast, girls, and the mystic and vibrant city of New York which some of the members have visited. “The whole environment is inspiring”, says Sean, and Chad Agrees. “We were right across from were the Twin towers stood, and we were here in the studio on September 11th. It was our first day in the studio, and they had the eternal lights shining straight up from where the buildings stood…this place is so much bigger so awe inspiring.” The Studio houses many different recording rooms, some days we are scattered throughout the studio. “We are receiving a lot of help from the studios producer Machine (Gene Freeman), He’s a Genius”, says bassist Evan Ellis. The band were visited by their managers Matthew Stewart and Yogi Allgood of Outerloop management who were excited with what they heard. The Machine shop recording studio was recently featured in an AP magazine feature. (August 2010 issue)
This Romantic Tragedy expects that Tragic Hero Records will be releasing the album before the end of the year, and will be supported by heavy touring by the band throughout the US and Canada starting the final months of 2010 into 2011. This Romantic Tragedy was formed in 2007 and they have three EP’s to their credit, which are available on iTunes. You can visit the bands web page for more information.
