It was a great day at The Millsite Inn in Ward, CO today. Very cool and appreciative audience, great staff and amazing mountain stage. And of course, Chris and James were killing it all day long!
I think that this was my first 80string plus drums outing; deep thanks to Gregory Garcia for holding it down and great musicianship!
Signel-Z is psyched to be playing live radio and Millsite Inn shows soon! https://www.facebook.com/SignelZ?fref=nf

It may shape up to be a hopping' Summer for the band as The Laughing Goat is on Tuesday March 31, 2015 and the Rib House (Longmont, CO), duet show featuring Chris and Steve Ignelzi is on April 25. Let us know if you have venue/contact suggestions! Thanks!
This is going to be a special show, featuring both songs and instrumentals with: Steve Ignelzi (Novax 8-string), Chris Ignelzi (vocal/guitar), Bill Giebler (keys), James Townsend (drums/vocal)
Signel-Z has March 31 Laughing Goat show coming up featuring both the instrumental jazz and the vocal edition material. Tons of great material to draw from! The group hopes to see you there!
This week's Boulder Weekly horoscope for Scorpio seems to capture my relative inability to describe the music: "In the TV show Science-Fiction show Dr. Who, the title character lives in a time-machine that is also a spaceship. It's called a Tardis. It's barely bigger than a phone booth. But once you venture inside, you find it's a spacious chateau with numerous rooms, including a greenhouse, library, observatory, swimming pool and karaoke bar." Paraphrasing - This is an excellent metaphor for Signel-Z, a Tardis of music and far bigger, deeper sound on the inside that it would appear on the outside.
Well, we survived the NY Eve festivities at the Stanley and the recording progress is coming along slowly but surely! Hopefully, we will be able to issue a CD release date within a couple of months!
