Flies on Easter 2008, by Henry of The Sunday Flies

The Easter bunny is buried under a pile of static. Sure there is nice stuff. Like I threw on a sweater and took out my Mom for a mexican easter brunch and we talked about enlightenment and transcending death- stuff like that. But still, so much static. Everybody vying for your time and attention. Are there 6 billion people and 6 billion and one bands? Well I'm gonna tell you on Easter why our band is different and why you should support us:

* We don't have some ego complex. We just have complex egos that are disintegrating the more we play. * If you help me out I actually think about it day and night. When someone does something nice - like Mikey who went out of his way to supply our p.a. for the next show- it makes me want to cry. Nothing you do is forgotten. * Shows are about self-expression, dancing/entertainment, meeting new people who I will do whatever I can to connect you with and listening to all your suggestions and seeing if it can influence the sound. * Listening creates the music. Your listening will influence the sound and songs in some way at every show I guarantee it. Why? Because I in the non-dual state at times. Which makes me both lame and transparent, arrogant and frightful, happy and sad. I am listening to you. *You support our art, I will support yours. Nuff said.

I actually love you more than you think I do.
