Ernie Ball's Battle for Rock On The Range 2014

Well guys, it's about that time again for every single rock band in Columbus to duke it out for the coveted opening spot on Jager Stage at ROTR. We have entered this battle for the second time, the first time being over 3 years ago. I'm going to explain everything you need to know about how you can help boost us up in the ranks and help us reach the goal of playing ROTR this year. It's not all about voting!

The first thing you need to do is go to this link; http://rotr.battleofthebands.com/u/Pavelow

Once there, you'll see our bands entry for the battle which includes photos, music, some info about the band, and two very important icons on the middle left hand side. "Vote For This Band" and "Share This Band" - these two buttons are clearly going to be everyones main focus because they are the most noticeable on the page. You can vote for us as often as you'd like, there are no restrictions. You can also share as much as you'd like. Doing both of those things will help us IMMENSELY in this battle, but that's not all you can do.

Beside every song there is a tiny little "share" button on the right. This will enable to share your favorite song by directly to your Facebook or Twitter, that way you're saying "Hey please help this band out, here's some music!" instead of just a link with our band photo on it. Sounds pretty reliable right?

The last thing you can do to help us out is leaving a comment on our band entry page, which is located all the way down at the bottom. It can be anything from "FUCK YEAH PABLO!" or just a simple "Fuck you guys, this band sucks!". By commenting on the page, you are creating hype and that helps us a lot!

All of these options are a cumulative effort that all contribute to our bands "buzz rating" which is also listed right there on the battle page. The higher our buzz rating, the higher up in the ranks we are. While we only have to be in the top 100 bands to be considered for a slot, if we're higher up that will allow a more viral out reach of people who aren't looking for our band, but stumble upon us and hopefully find that they enjoy our music. When it comes right down to it, that is our ultimate goal. We want to share our creative passion with as many people as humanly possible, and even the simplest share of our page puts us so much closer to achieving that.

Let me thank every last one of you reading this for your continued support for this band, with you we will continue to rise and live our dream. now, let's fucking win this thing!

- Tyler
