Merry Christmas

Safely back in Norway after touring 3 weeks in UK. It was such a pleasure traveling around on my own playing concerts and meeting so many nice people. Thanks to all of you who helped me make this happen, you are truly amazing! I had my last weekend off catching up with friends in Glasgow attending Emma Watson’s surprise Star Trek party. Light sabres and free champagne! And even more bubbles the day after. Watching my band mate Innes Watson win the Instrumentalist of the Year award at the Scots Trad Awards in Perth was also such a treat. Very much deserved for such a talented and hard working musician! Now it’s time for Christmas back home in the snowy West of Norway and some very much needed down time before I’m gearing up for a busy Europe tour in January with the fabulous boys of Fyst with the amazing percussionist Utku Tavil. Should be fun. Check out the tour dates and come along!

Thanks a lot to everyone who contributed to make this year maybe one of the most remarkable ever. I’m looking forward to an exciting 2012.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Had a great jam session at Nisswastämman tonight with Linda Gytri, Torbjörn og Per Näsbom and many other lovely people from Minnesota. It’s really great to be here and I’m looking forward to more music and fun the rest of this weekend! http://www.nisswastamman.org/
