While many kids grew up watching television, G.C. spent hours sitting next to the radio singing, playing air guitar, and developing his Rock n' Roll roots. A native of Houston, TX, he relocated to the City of Angels in July of 2008. Facing a heart wrenching decision, he left behind his family, friends, and a budding romance - all for his never ending love affair with music.
> Experience & Influences
G.C. has studied under Tom McKinney (Beyonce’, Mario Barrett, Demi Lovato) and lists: Chris Cornell, Sting, Robert Plant, Scott Weiland and Steven Tyler as some of his top Rock influences. “As a musician I can appreciate all types of music, but Rock n' Roll has always been my first true love." About the songwriting process G.C. explains, “The music that I write consists of life experiences good, bad, or indifferent but always pure. They are personal reflections of life, death, and everything in between.” G.C. has performed as the lead vocalist for several bands, has played hundreds of shows across the country, and has shared the stage with top acts such as: Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, Marky Ramone, Paul Stanley, Sammy Hagar, Mark Hudson, Winger, Kings X, Socialburn, and Boy Hits Car.
> Playing Live
In regards to his live shows, G.C. prides himself on delivering the best possible performance night after night. “I realize that I am very fortunate when fans come to see a show. I never take my audience for granted. I know I have to give 100% no matter what my mood is or what’s going on in my life. So if you see me sweating up on stage, it’s because I’m giving you everything I've got!”
Recently G.C. appeared in Season 2 of Mark Burnett’s Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp on VH1 Classic. There he had the opportunity to join a band, write, record and perform with some of the biggest names in Rock n' Roll. “Fantasy Camp has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life to date. Jamming with some of the most recognizable names in Rock n' Roll was nothing short of incredible. I know this is an indication of more great things to come”.
So whether it’s a television show, a small, intimate acoustic setting, or rocking the big stage in front of hundreds – G.C.’s charisma, charm, love of entertaining, and vocal talent is sure to captivate.
