Q: What was the most important thing musically to happen to you this past year? this past five years? What's going to happen in the next year? five years?

A: Musically, this past year, the most important thing to happen to me was that I decided to focus completely on my own projects, to put my all into them instead of spreading myself thin with a bunch of other people's projects. Past five years was that I went from hiding in my bedroom and sharing my songs with only a few people to playing shows, contributing vocals to albums with seasoned professional musicians with years in the business, and continuing to believe in my own little frankenstein creations with no qualms, having complete confidence I can only continue to grow as an artist. In the next year, I'd like to finish my EP in a fashion I'm proud of. In the next five years? A tour (or more, in Europe, too) continue to play with musicians I admire and also continue to build the kickass community of musicians and artists I am currently lucky as hell to be a part of. So grateful! <3<3
