Start spreading the word! We'll be playing Friday, 8/30 at Smokey Joe's with our original drummer Rick Sichler! This will be Rick's "official" last show with the band, so make plans now. Our buds Run Engine will open. It'll be a great night for sure.

It is time I end a short but awesome chapter in my deal. I have decided to retire from being a Migrant Worker. (lousy pun) to focus on my family, career, etc.. It has NOT come easy believe you me. Any musician at any level loves the rush of performing whether to 20 or 200 (or more!) at a gig, especially when you share your art/songs/creativity at full vulnerability..being apart of the Charlotte music scene is cool just is.... Alas this is not worth it at the expense of being a Husband and Father to Amanda Hurst Sichler and my Daughters. Although i was under the thinking/ prideful delusion that I was wearing many hats and actually succeeding (Faith, Family, Friends, Work, Finances, Music, Fitness, etc). I have come to the truth I have been half-assing most of them. It is time to stop stretching myself uber-thin and fully embrace this season of my life (I am super blessed indeed) at the risk of cheesing out.. to my band of brothers...Jym Chapman it has been a great 8 years of doing music with you out and about...after Blue Static i thought my band days were done. This has been then best band i have been in and really a BONUS situation. I was allowed to fully rediscover writing and penned a few for us..Harmonizing fools we be!..I know you will keep your vision going strong..last weekend at Shakori was a great way to land this thing. (with you too Kevo) Kevin Snyder we started 2 years ago a kick booty drum and bass team and added a brotherhood on top of that. Will miss the harmonies and doing each others back ups for our dittys. You got skills son and keep using them. I pray that this band continues that you find a new bandmate(s) that align with the MW values and are similar in life seasons with you...y'all deserve someone who can dedicate more time to the band. and yeah someone who CAN BRING IT! I am thankful we are "instruments of a higher power "Watershed to play worship and we can at times play together again. (had to quote that Jym one of my favorite lyrics" Well let me land with this: Love ya gents...good luck with MW and I hope i can come out and see what the new chapter holds...who knows maybe I can do a cameo...(WORD UP) and those who dig our band thanks for the support please continue to support. Peace and pardon the transparency,
