Jackson Delaney / Press

“Love Jackson's voice and the tune is catchy! Would love to see the video for this one! ”

*Lisa Phillips - KESM

“Fans of bearded country crooner Jamey Johnson should get a similar jolt from newcomer Jackson Delaney. Armed with a twang-tastic deep baritone voice and more than his fair share of facial hair, Delaney knocks it out of the park on his self-titled debut. My only complaint is that with just six tracks clocking in at less than 23 minutes, we’re left wanting more. Delaney has crafted a consistently excellent record, with songs like “Long Black Cadillac,” “Ugly, Luck & Me,” “Shotgun Wedding” and “Freedom (Never Goes Out of Style)” especially impressive. Even remaining tunes “You Make Me Wanna” and “The Good Drugs” are pretty darn good and I can’t wait to hear more from this up-and-coming star.”

Jeffrey Sisk - Golden West Radio

““I love this song! Who hasn’t been to one of those weddings…I mean come on, we’re in the South!! If you haven’t been this song makes you want to go!””

Sheila Vest - WNKX

““A great country song tells story, which requires the services of an accomplished storyteller. Jackson Delaney’s “Shotgun Wedding” scores on both counts. The hook tells it all - “Shotgun Wedding and a boy in a bulletproof vest.” The imagery is immediate, and if you like your country to rock, hang on. When I listened the first time through, I sat here with a big ole smile on my face, and felt like I’d just seen a movie. It’s just that good. After listening to Jackson’s EP, I quickly learned that he is also that good. There’s a song called “Ugly, Lucky and Me” that is so unique, it just has to be released as a single. I’m begging. There isn’t a dog lovin’ country fan out there, who won’t want to buy it. Getting back to my original premise, Jackson Delaney knows how to tell a story, and he’s going to be an exciting artist to watch.””

Bill Hughes - WJSQ

“Jackson is a 'what you see is what you get' type of guy. With the looks of Jamey Johnson and the personality of Luke Bryan, he truly is the total package! I’m excited to see him take off!”

John Mansell - WSLV

“Shotgun Wedding - great song, something that no one ever talks about but a lot of families deal with”

-Sheila Vest - WNKX –Centerville, TN

“JACKSON DELANEY: This outlaw revivalist comes out of the box with such a Waylon inspired growl it almost feels like a parody until your ears find their footing and you realize this cat is for real. Sidetracked out of a nascent baseball career by injury, he self professes that music found him and he hopes the rest will be history. This is one atavistic sound we wouldn’t mind hearing more of. Check it out.”

CHRIS SPECTOR, Editor and Publisher - (c)2013Midwest Record

“Here’s a great example of a rising star with that good ole boy sound. Delaney offers up an impressive vocal performance…the production is Nashville rock/country in the vein of Jason Aldean. I like it!”

Macon - MusicCityRadio.com

““This Ohio-native drives ‘country’ back to the music that Waylon and Haggard hold between the lines.” ”

Clevelad - MusicCityRadio.com

“When you hear a real country voice, you know it. And with Jackson Delaney’s new self-titled EP, it’s one of those ‘know it’ moments. However, he not only has the voice to sing real country, but he’s also matched with some fantastic songs. It’s a formula guaranteed to work, and comes out a certified success. ”

Ariel Publications

“Jackson Delaney is a wonderful up and coming Country artist. His sound is well polished and Country fans will be sure to like it. JacksonDelaney is an artist that quite obviously puts a lot of energy into his music. He is a great cross of country and rocker, with a brand and style of music that gets you energized while also perhaps smacking you in the gut a bit. Listen for yourself at www.jacksondelaney.com”

“Jackson Delaney brings the ‘True Grit’ of country music and southern rock together like never before.”

Captain Jack - Renegade Radio Nashville

“Delaney has a great country voice that brings icons like Waylon Jennings to mind. Much like a half-brother to Trace Adkins, Delaney sings these songs with authority, in a lower register. It’s the sort of vocal tone that makes you pay close attention to every word that comes out of his mouth.”

Review You

“...Vocally reminiscent of Ronnie Dunn, Jackson Delaney convinces once again with thrilling songs far away from all the Nashville clichés. He thrills with his catchy vocal choruses and edgy guitar riffs and with an understanding of Outlaw country (à la Waylon, Willie & Co.), he captures the spirit of music lovers and critics alike.”

Country Jukebox / Munich Germany

“...Armed with a twang-tastic, deep baritone voice...Delaney knocks it out of the park on his self-titled debut...Delaney has crafted a consistently excellent record.”
