Harsh / Press

“HARSH Hardcore, metal, punk, blood, sweat, hatred, anger,in your face attitude are just a few words that come to mind when trying to describe the band Harsh."Harsh"The name says it all! F-U and up yours is the attitude you get from this band of angry balls to the wall bastards.Harsh the hardcore monsters of mayhem have been reeking havoc and destroying stages since 1993.When I heard that Harsh was playing with my good friends from The Kings of Hell at the Bank & Blues Club in Daytona Beach. I knew I was in for a good time, but I wasn't sure if they would have the pure power & intensity that they had back in the day.To my surprise when Harsh hit the stage it was like they never missed a beat, ripping out several of their classic ball busting grenades as the pit broke into a frenzied dance with the devil.Old punks never fade away they just get meaner!”

“The night started off w/ Harsh.I walked in a few min. Into their set and managed to catch some really cool music.I had never heard them before and describing them is a little tough because I can't stick them in a category which in my book is a compliment. Some bands you can say are obviously death metal or obviously country(they sound nothing like either,I'm just trying to make a point)Harsh were just good and heavy.I thought I heard elements of punk and metal, but for the most part they really did have their own sound.”
