“Face First Face First is a very solid hard rock band featuring downtuned guitars, hard hitting riffs and a killer bassist. Just the way we like it here at Two Guys. The guitar parts are extremely solid and the riffs here are to die for. They are catchy enough that there is quire a bit of unintentional headbanging to stay in time with the riffs. The bassist of Face First is a killer and his riffs help to add flavor to the verse lines. When I heard the bass line on Say It Like it Is my mind was blown, Face First is proof that heavy riffing metal can have some sick and unique bass lines. Then the drums stay hard hitting and aggressive throughout giving the music a great beat. The vocals seem kind of Five Finger Death Punch-like to me. There is a mix of yelled vocals (but not growls) and more melodic singing. In short Face First is a killer band with a powerful sound reminiscent of some of the greatest bands out there today.”
