“DOUBLE ELEVEN IS SOLID ROCK Local rockers release debut EP ..... The band's debut album, "Double Eleven" showcases the last three years of work Double Eleven has put together. They are a hard rock Texas blues band based in Shreveport, but brothers Jimi and Jesse Don are from Carthage, Texas. Jimi writes most of the music and on tracks like "Comin' Home Blues," you definitely know there's a Texan in the house. "Keep on calling baby, I've got to find my way back home, to your sweet sweet lovin, baby, Texas is were I'm from," they scream on "Comin' Home Blues." It was recorded at Blade Studios in Shreveport and was engineered and mixed by Chris Bell and mastered by Andy VanDette of Masterdisk. "Double Eleven" was produced by the band's drummer Brian K. Wooten, and Jimi Don, and was released Jan.1. A must listen on the album is "Hard Rain" .... .... as a whole is a solid effort of hard rock, and fans describe the music as a true tribute to the energy of '70s rock.”
