Really diggin' your tunes. That's a lot of sound for three guys. You got those tube amps dialed in. I love "180B", but then I am into highway tales - check out "Chrome and Candy Apple Red" on my RN page. Props to my brothers from down under, I'm hoping to travel there soon. Best wishes from Montana USA. - Tom

“Expect a damn fine time Author: KATE McILWAIN Date: 01/09/2011 Publication: Illawarra Mercury Section: The Beat Page: 34 DAMN FINE GENTLEMEN Friday: Heritage Hotel, Their bluesy music harks back to a time gone by, so when they first started playing together the Damn Fine Gentlemen needed a name to match. They settled on their catchy three-word moniker because it evoked an old-fashioned, slightly irreverent feeling. "When we first started playing we were a bluesy sort of band, getting on a bit too - we're not spring chickens. It's that 'Ye Olde' whatever style, and that's gone into our artwork for our EP and album, how we do our gigs and the type of music we play." "We get our styles from everywhere, we play rockabilly, swing, even straight blues, blue rock or swampy slide - it's a really diverse bag we do." The trio spent a year writing the 12 songs on Damn Fine Gentlemen and then recorded them in Coniston at Gypsy Moon Studios with producer Al Wright.”
