Candlelight Red / Press

“Candlelight Red continue to land prime opening slots with renowned rock acts, as it has been announced that the group will be opening this summer for Saving Abel on a nationwide US tour. The tour kicks off on Saturday, July 9th in Williamsport, PA (the band's hometown) with a headlining performance, and will wrap up on Wednesday, August 30th in Erie, PA. Additional dates should be announced soon for September, as well. Candlelight Red is no stranger to sharing the stage with established and well-known hard rock acts, as they have opened for both Kiss and was part of the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival (which included Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Halestorm, and Hellyeah) and just finished a month long tour with Egypt Central. With each additional tour, Candlelight Red is closing in on headlining status themselves, so catch the group in an intimate setting while you still can! ”

“ "Once upon a time, someone gave KISS a chance," said KISS bassist Gene Simmons. "We have always believed in giving back. From giving our fans the Hottest Show on Earth to giving new talent a shot. Congratulations to Candlelight Red. Well deserved." "From Tom Petty to Judas Priest. From Bon Jovi to Motley Crue, the KISS stage has always been the arena where gladiators prove themselves worthy to be Rock Champions," said KISS rhythm guitarist and vocalist Paul Stanley. "Time will tell if Candlelight Red will join the pantheon of greats. We are proud to make that opportunity possible."”

“Guitar Center along with rock and roll icons KISS, today announced that Candlelight Red of Williamsport, PA, will receive a $10,000 shopping spree at Guitar Center. After sifting through thousands of entries, KISS and Guitar Center handpicked Candlelight Red to open a KISS show in Pittsburgh on July 29. Guitar Center’s On-Stage competition gave twenty-two unsigned bands from across the country the career-altering opportunity to perform at a show on KISS’ North American tour, The Hottest Show on Earth. KISS chose Candlelight Red as their favorite from the competition. ”

“Candlelight Red are on the road supporting Egypt Central throughout June. They are touring in support of their debut single, "Closer," which impacted radio last week with WZBH in Ocean City, KHTQ in Spokane, KFRQ in McAllen and WAQX in Syracuse, WKLC in Huntington WV and KBRE in Merced, CA all adding the song out of the box. The group recently finished work on 'The Wreckage' with producer David Ivory (Silvertide, Halestorm and The Roots) which is projected to be released in July on Imagen Records. “Not many bands this day in age can have the skyrocketing career of Williamsport-based Candlelight Red. With the music industry declining in almost every aspect, bands need to work 10 times harder just to keep their name known even to a small amount of people. With that said, it’s almost refreshing to hear that that in just a short time, these quick-rising hard rockers have opened for legendary Kiss, and in a few short days will be adding Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Halestorm, Stone Sour, and Hellyeah to that list when the band plays on the Jagermeister side stage at the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival this Friday at Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain. The band has also shared stages with acts like Staind, Lacuna Coil, Three Days Grace, Stone Sour — which is on the Uproar main stage — and Clutch.”
