“And of course, then came the wildly anticipated Cambion. The small venue exploded with excitement as the next big thing appeared on stage. All around were excited cheers and the blur of heads as they moved to the music. I had seen Cambion once before, the previous year, and I can say they've definitely improved. The atmosphere was one I was proud to be a part of. A favourite would be hard to place but I greatly enjoyed “Salem” and “Jester”. When it comes to music, I'm a sucker for a strong intro with a powerful sound. This is something Cambion deliver for me. When asked for their opinions satisfied audience members stated “It was an awesome night!” and “I'm gonna' be wrecked tomorrow but it was so worth it!” The Cavern definitely delivered an excellent night for their metal fans. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and was glad I chose to attend. Metal Mondays will definitely be a more regular date in my diary. ”

“Melodic death metal, gothenburg and metalcore, all merged into one. And there is more: they even add djent to the mix. And no, it is not a complete schizophrenia. There is method to the madness, but it is fair to say that the band is doing their fair share of experimenting. Alternating between deadly paced riffs, In Flames-like melodies, coordinated technical rhythms and more unassuming structures, Last Rites is as engaging as they come. Even though it is quite heavy and venomous for the most part, there are some acoustic breaks with the occasional solo, and clean vocals that invade and complement the songs. The music of Cambion is ultimately not very difficult to assimilate, it is instantaneous and direct, and it manages to catch the listener off guard right off the bat, throwing unexpected riffs that come out of nowhere. And when it comes to separate the wheat from the chaff, Cambion are on the good side of the fence. by BloodTears ”

“Enter CAMBION. From the Heavy Metal outback that is Exeter come a 4 piece that defy both age and lack of experience. They possess the maturity, skill, craft and guile of seasoned professionals. 12 months have passed since I first saw this band and the strides they are making are giant ones. Top Class. ”

“Exeter based metal band Cambion return to WizzFest again in 2011 with another storming set, after their impressive debut at WizzFest 2010. See the band perform 'Salem' to the capacity crowd at the festival which took place on the 19th March 2011 in Aalter, Belgium. ”

“Fozzy tour Oct 2010 First up were Exeter’s Cambion, launching straight into their set. The four-piece screamo metallers came across sound wise as a cross between Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium but with the added variety of melodic vocal harmonies between front-man Elliott Alderman-Broom and bassist Helen Tytherleigh. They played a number of tracks from the debut “Cambion EP” to the small but growing crowd early in the evening and for sure picked up some new fans along the way! ”

“Having just come back from gigs in Europe, Devon based CAMBION are really ones to watch out for this year. Their live shows are a full on energy romp and are as tight as any acts who are twice the age of these young defenders of the faith. Stand out tracks on the album (titled End of This Nightmare) like Fall From Grace and End of This Nightmare show the true force of this band that have caught the attention of the likes of Blaze Bayley (former Iron Maiden) who asked them to support him last year for live dates." “This band excite me!! If you like your metal aka Trivium and Bullet for my valentine, look no further than CAMBION… Mature beyond their years and impressive beyond belief. I asked what the future of UK metal and a voice replied CAMBION. I can’t remember the last time a young British rock band filled me with as much excitement as CAMBION! Given the breaks this band will soar… Trust me I’m a DJ…" Dave Chipchase Metal gods rockshow - www.radioteesdale.co.uk Read more: http://www.myspace.com/cambionuk#ixzz0wPmmZ2IV ”
