“What do all of these have in common? Electro Pop Music, an unscripted and uncensored cabaret full or original music, acoustic musical performances, a documentary in the works and the beginnings of a non profit organization? This only begins to sum up the workload of Barry Brandon. Brandon has now been touring and performing his one-man show (two man show once you count his best friend and songwriter Jose Luis Rodriguez) since June of last year. What started out as a one time concert to be filmed for the documentary “The Tin Man Project” (film surrounding his 8th open-heart surgery), has now become an intimate look at life through comedy, music and powerful spoken word. The show has been performed in 8 cities and isn’t planning on stopping anytime soon. Brandon refers to “In My Own Words” as The Little Engine that Could. ”
