“In just a year, As Dreams Die has created their own statement. In December 2010, formerly known as Beneath the Past, their passions were growing deep within as they began to write their own music and advance into what is now a new experience for them as well as their listeners. As Dreams Die recently released their new EP “A Land Afar” that consists of an intriguing, effectual sound. The two guitarists, Josh Bernstein and Edward Salem, sync together, creating such a unique and powerful composition. Vocals from Josh Trissel are clear yet brutal, slowly ripping straight in to your chest. In March, As Dreams Die played their first show under that name. They prepped and practiced 6 songs to bring an amazing set. They are unlike other local area bands in the scene, strong determination and a asshole free quality. As Dreams Die are quickly surfacing from the cracks of San Diego, Expect many great things from them in the future.”
