Known for their high energy performances and catchy chorus lines, OneHundred Proof is on the brink of taking their music to the next level. Blending Rock with Hip Hop and a touch of blues, these guys are definitely bringing refreshing sound to Southern California. OneHundred Proof signed with Sullen Musik in 2013 and immediately released their official first album "Wolf Among The Sheep".
Eric Estrada (Vocals/lead guitar) and Jimi Estrada (Vocals/keys/Harmonica), brothers and front men for the band have been playing music since they were kids. It was only natural they would grow up and continue writing music and performing together. Bminor (rhythm guitarist) and good friends with Eric and Jimi, has been playing guitar since he was a teenager. Eric and Bminor met through mutual friends at parties and always jammed out together. They continued to play music for a few years at these backyard parties amongst a few friends. Now they share a stage together and perform as a band in front of hundreds! Mike P (Drummer) has been playing drums for years. A lot like the Estrada brother's, as a kid music was big part of Mike P's life. Originally learning Jazz style drumming, Mike P was still able to adapt to many other style of playing. This could be credited to his appreciation for different genres of music. As fate would have it, Eric and Mike P met through work. Eric and Jimi were still playing music together. At the time, Eric was into making beats and Jimi was writing and rapping to them. Once all 4 musicians finally got in a room together, there was no denying the natural chemistry that was being created amongst them. Vasquez (Bass) was the last member to join the band in late 2012. Vasquez was already friends with Jimi and Bminor long before the band had formed. The 3 of them never imagined they would be in a band together. Originally he was a drummer and had been playing since he was in his teens. Vasquez also went on to learn guitar and bass and had already been in a few bands. OneHundred Proof was in search for a new bass player. Steven Vasquez was already a fan of the band and when Jimi asked him to come jam out at a rehearsal and the rest is history.
