It’s a fair statement to say that National Blues Hall of Fame Guitarist Justin Pietrowski leaves our world at show time. The moment the lights come on and the house music quits, an energy fills the room that rivals a nuclear power plant. Justin’s enormous, passionate presence bleeds through each and every articulated note from his fingertips through a chunk of wood and a set of metal that are clearly an extension of his soul. He treats the stage like his own personal playground, grabbing the attention of everyone in the room with his magnetic showmanship. Pietrowski throttles heavily on British guitar influences like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, Pietrowski crafts heavy blues tones and injects them into his power driven rock engine forming the foundation of his band, JP3.
A tried and true professional, Justin has performed on three continents has consistent touring experience and has achieved radio acclaim internationally earning a best of 2011 feature with his song “Pack and Run” in Manchester, United Kingdom. JP3’s second studio album “Into the Light” (2013) achieved its success in 2014 earning a 1 in 4 nomination and winning “Blues Album of the Year” at the International Music and Entertainment Association Awards. JP3’s third album is planned for recording in fall/winter 2014, which features their already well-received single “Devil’s Slave” (unreleased). To end 2014, the band is planning a winter release of their first-ever live album “JP3 – Live at Stay Tuned Music Festival”.
