Badsville / Bio

When did rock and roll get so clean and safe?

Badsville is a three piece band from Flint, Michigan specializing in an unhinged mix of rockabilly blues and light elements of garage rock and punk. They boast a long line of rock and roll originals as well as a full repertoire of rockabilly, blues, and country covers.

Now with fresh paper cuts and whiskey stains from creating the first 100 copies of their DIY effort, the 5 song EP "Speak Some Evil", Badsville is hitting the bars to ply their rock and roll trade. The digital version of "Speak Some Evil" is soon to follow. New songs and the framework of their full album are soon to be seen.

Badsville is composed of singer/bassist Jordan Lyn, guitarist Michael Ford, and drummer Tony Rodriguez. The band formed by Jordan Lyn in August 2008 just outside of Flint, Michigan, seeing their first line-up hit the stage in 2010. Since then they have been featured on uDetroit TV's “Wolfman Mac Show”, Rumbleville's Annual “Rumble in Flint” at The Machine Shop, and had a song featured in Lonnie Martin's independent horror-comedy film “Cougars”. As well, Badsville has shared the stage with great bands such as Three Bad Jacks, The Goddamn Gallows, and The Matadors.
