Anastacia Beth Scott / Bio

Anastacia performs as a solo, duo, trio, or full band.

Anastacia always knew her life would revolve around music. Her father, Joe Leonardi, was a touring bass player for a Country Rock band in the late '60s and '70s. And at the age of nine, Anastacia found her first guitar, beat-up and leaning against a trash can, on the beach of her home town, Huntington Beach, California. She began to sing and write songs as a form of journaling while raising her son. Several years ago, she moved into the woods of Central Oregon where music became a consistent part of her life.

A few months after Anastacia's first public performance, she entered one of her songs, Quicksand, into a song-writing competition and won a spot on the Sisters Folk Festival stage.

After playing guitar and singing next to her father in the bands, Stone Soup and Threes, Anastacia went out on her own and has evolved into a solo artist as well as leading her own band, ANASTACIA.

In July 2009, Anastacia completed her first solo CD and with her title track song, Grains of Sand, won an all-expense-paid music video contest from FFE Films. View the video. Her second CD, "Where the Road Meets the Sky" was released in November 2011.

Anastacia's genuine love for sharing her music creates an intimate yet electrically charged setting for a very captive audience. She is an ever-evolving artist with soulful talent and seems to be shining brighter with each performance.
