Jason Davis is always seeking the right direction in life. His direction has changed at times but, it has always been the right direction. Jason grew up northeast of Atlanta, with a family who loved music and really loved to sing. Many nights were spent with family around his grandmothers piano, singing songs of love, redemption, and a place called Glory. At the age of 15, Jason began to take playing the guitar and singing seriously. By the age of 17, Jason stayed busy playing lead guitar for many bands and on many different stages.
After a few years, Jason turned his sights to ministry. Jason followed a calling to start a church and lead worship. Everything was great until he woke one Sunday morning with a severe pain in his arm. Jason's pain increased and motor function of the arm worsened. After three years of visiting different doctors, specialist, and surgeons it seemed Jason was destined to a life of pain meds. With most hope gone a call was made...an appointment was set with a surgeon at Atlanta hospital. A spinal diagnosis was made that others had missed and a surgery later seemed to fix the problem.
After six months of healing it was as if nothing had ever been wrong. So excited, Jason began playing guitar again and received a phone call from a long time friend asking if he was interested performing music again. Not sure of the future to come Jason gave it a shot. He gained so much encouragement. It was the spark that became a fire. After a phone call from another long time friend, Southern Ground recording artist and songwriter Levi Lowrey, it's evident his direction has changed yet again.
