Pop punk group ALL OF THE ABOVE was officially formed in OCTOBER of 2008 when bassist James Adams put together a group for the Parkland High School Open Mic Night. The original group consisted of members Andrew Dorn (vocals, drums), Jeremy Gedeon (Guitar), and James Adams (Bass), playing a cover of Green Day's Brain Stew. After their initial formation, the group went on to include Josh Hansel on drums, allowing ...Dorn to indulge in rhythm guitar and vocals. After months of successful gigs and song writing, as well as the unfortunate parting of Hansel, the band added rhythm guitarist Matt Adkins to their lineup. After Adkins was added to the lineup, the band began a 3 month period of writing and recording material for an album. On September 2nd, 2009, All Of The Above released their demo album $1.00 . Less than two weeks after the album was released to the public, the band added drummer Travis Wingate , and manager Rachel Holly to their roster. The following year would be one to remember as the band slowly began to make a name for itself in and outside of high school, playing shows from The Sterling Hotel Bar to Croc Rock... and even the Crayola Factory. After a long year of advertising and shows... they bid a fond farewell to their senior member Matt Adkins as he went on to "study" at Bloomsburg University. So many memories in such a small time. We'll miss you Matt!
All of the Above is looking forward to another great year of music, mountain dew, ...and some other third thing. probably being naked. ;)
