I am a artist, singer/songwriter, producer born and raised in Bloomington Mn. I grew up taking vocal lessons, jazz, ballet and tap dancing. I loved drawing, painting, fashion, and design. From a young age I was involved with church choir and always excelled in school choir. They put me in All City Choir for two years and was in two school plays. I always loved going dancing at underage dance clubs as soon as I turned 14. A guys singing group The Shy Guys were looking for a girl group that I became a part of but it lasted through 2 practices. My friend Chaconas and I recorded two songs and started a group called Mixture. We played our songs for a panel of judges at Glam Slam but it didn't go anywhere. I sang at my aunts wedding and my friend Chanel's wedding. I recorded at Jim Parks studio on a song featuring Gwen Lewis called I Gotta Get On With My Life. I performed with a band at Stake N Ale and met producer Al Linder and we worked on about 7 songs, one that I recorded at Levi Cesar's house. I met Kirk Johnson and did a couple songs with him at his studio, one song called Nice And Slow. I started recording in studios at age 17. I bumped into Levi again and recorded at his house with his engineer. I worked with Lasalle Gabriel a few times. After appearing on Kryptic Records single "I Need Your Sex", I began writing in various studios fuzzy Slippers with Jake Rodriguez, and Ben Obi at Savannah Street in which I wrote two songs for girls he was doing demos on. I vocal coached one. I purchasing my own equipment. I've done session work for over 15 years. Thanks to OMC Music/Columbia Tri-Star two songs I wrote and sang ("Love Me Like You Do" and "Soul Love") which were placed over scene's on "The Young And The Restless" daytime soap. I began modeling and went to the IMTA convention in New York in 1988. I came back and modeled in a runway show for Aveda Institute and a broshure for Bashard photography. I did a commercial for first Dynasty with Polo and another for the Atlanta Music Showcase with DJ Evil E which was placed on Geffen Records Internet site. I started meeting producers via the Internet and around Mpls. Bruce Griggs aka Kota Bey with Linquei, King Envy out of Miami, and Superpower. I was doing between 7-18 tracks with them all. As a solo artist I recorded my own vocals and some production for my own cd "Dance With Me" in 2006. "Here We Go" in 2007, "Love Is" and mixtape "Global Warning" in 2008, and "I Got U" in 2009. I put my first song for sale on the internet produced by Shawn Jaros entitled So Good. You can download it from Cd Baby Music. I also worked with a great producer named Rocky Byrd with Blackbird Music on a demo song for Lady Gaga which was picked up overseas. A producer from Australia named Envy Prince collaborated on two songs with me. One that his group New Generation had already done and I recorded my vocals behind the hook Get Low also the title and a turn-a-round part. Then he produced a beautiful ballad with piano and I wrote Comeback. A DJ from Africa DJCMBAVILLE sent me a track in which I wrote the song Touch Me. Recently in 2015 I collaborated with Faleuch Wade a rap artist overseas in Senegal Africa on a track called How Much I Love You.
