Ann Marie Woodard - Vocals and Percussion. A unique and talented artist, Ann Marie has performed throughout California. We are not entirely sure where Ann Marie originated as she has no recollection of her early existence outside of random memories of traveling with Gypsies, Tramps, and various other Thieves. But vocal skill and sweet, sweet harmonics are her forte. Oh, and she plays some mean percussion when allowed!
Syonia Peterson - Vocals and Keys. Syonia started playing at age 10 and singing in church at 14. She has played the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Casinos in California and Nevada and all points local. Syonia loves nothing more than good tequila, some tasty tight chords, and 3 part harmony. She's a simple girl. NOT!
Buddy Davis: Vocals and Keys. Buddy, the son of an AME minister, started his singing in church. He joined “Up with People”, straight out of high school, formed a group called Justice, That opened for Rare Earth, Ohio Players, Larry Graham. After moving to California, Bud sang with Odysus, The Verge, Masi & Soul, The Rhythm Coalition and the Buddy Davis Band. He was in Vegas for 7 years with the Superstar Temptations, and has performed with The Drifters, The Coasters and The Platters and many other national acts. We're not really sure why he's playing with us. He just showed up at rehearsal one day and said, "that music! It CALLED to me!" Nuff said!
Sam Butler: Guitar and Sound , If Johnny and Bill are the foundation of the band and Ann Marie, Syonia, and Buddy are the vocal center, then Sam would be the bald guy in the shades. When it comes to great Vocals, Sam stands right next to all the people in the band that have them. Playing Fender Strats and Tube Amps, he is influenced by The Allman Bros, The Everly Bros and the Marx Bros. Not necessarily in that order....
Chris Malone - After an unsuccessful career in Mr. Universe competitions, Chris decided that he was better off playing drums in a really good dance cover band. An improbable series of events involving a traveling circus and a Kyrgyzstani beauty queen brought him into contact with Bandwidth...and the rest is history. As an impressionable youth growing up in New Jersey, Chris idolized such iconic drummers as Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, and John Bonham. He's not nearly as good as they are, but he can still hold down a pretty good groove.
