While most people make phone calls, journal, and write letters, Karianne Larson likes to communicate through her songs. With a passion for experiencing life with all of her senses, Karianne always has engaging stories to tell through her lyrics and her melodies.
Karianne first started recording her music when she was 13 in the studio of a friend and worship pastor, Kory Brunson. After recording 3 songs with Kory over the course of a year, Karianne opened a home recording studio "Infinite Studios", with her friend David Gaskins. "I wanted more control over the recording process, and wanted to be able to record local artists in the area for free", says Karianne. Through Infinite Studios Karianne self-released her first EP "Our Turn".
After a year at Pepperdine University studying psychology and religion, Karianne is back with a new 10-track CD. Karianne plans to drop the CD late August, and is enthusiastic about the release. She says, "I have never been more proud of anything I have created. I am so excited about every song on the album. I think I have grown as a writer, a musician, and most importantly a person. I want these songs to be heard."
