From the ashes of fallen bands, Beastmode was raised. Drummer-Tommy Tucker and Vocalist-Stephen Christensen, both formally of the high energy-Metal band called Heatfix, set out on a journey to create. With a few auditions for guitar spots not working out they prepared for a reunion show with Heatfix. Daniel Denny a neighbor of Tommy's Already playing in a short lived band of his own, overheard the music of Heatfix radiating through the streets of a small Mustang, Oklahoma neighborhood. After some short introductions Daniel and Tommy Became friends. Soon thereafter Stephen was forced to take a short hiatus from the project leaving Dan and Tom with the itch to write music. Tommy familiar with the heavy hitting metal styling of Heatfix and Dan with his Rock/Hard Rock Background, made for some deliciously heavy crush. Upon Steve's return, the members had already found a bass player CJ "Cujo" Jackson. Cj's youthfulness and exposure to modern metal added yet another twist to their forming sound. Beastmode auditioned other guitar players to fill a second guitar spot and with none of them sticking decided that they enjoyed the focus of just one guitar. Soon they were writing songs with ease, enjoying the blend of their influences and unbound creativity.
