Phoebe Novak emerged from a well sometime (exactly when is still in debate among farmers and magicians) in the mid 1980s, sexually mature and smelling like the ocean after a hurricane. She spent some time in NYC growing up there and playing alongside the likes of Diane Cluck and Regina Spektor; however, had an unfortunate little heroin addiction, which caused her to be anesthetized for the majority of this time period whilst record labels were sniffing up under her petticoats. She had since been sentenced to the purgatory that is Northern VA, but is reemerging onto the NYC scene with her haunted screams and dripping gypsy lullabies (having the tendency to pierce all human and small animals' organs and orifices) with only a few track marks and two-thirds of a missing finger. She looks forward to swallowing the audience in her enchanted spell-web that was taught to her by a witch who kept her as a pet during her stay in California. Phoebe has live recordings mixed by the talented and ever handsome Brian Speaker as well as live videos made by fans, friends, and film photographers. She has one official record released; a startlingly satiating and sexy EP with prime-cut producer and audio-engineer Casey Holford of Golden Rule Studio.
