Baltic to Boardwalk began writing together in the fall of 2009. They quickly gained a following by playing many shows in the area. They released a four song demo in early 2010 and began recording their debut EP that summer. “Glory Days” was released January 15th 2011. In support of the EP, they toured in June and December of that year. After over a year of writing, Baltic went to Des Moines, IA to record at The Establishment with Griffin Landa (Take it Back, Too Pure to Die, Venia). They toured that summer to promote the new record. “Ghost Towns” was released August 18th 2012.
Baltic to Boardwalk draws from a variety of influences. With each member bringing their own ideas, they write as a group. In their three years as a band, they have shared the stage with larger touring acts such as Comeback Kid, Touché Amoré, and Daytrader. They have played in eleven states, with plans to add ten more by the end of winter. Their goal has always been to work hard, have fun, and make as many friends as possible. Be on the lookout in 2013 for new music and more tours.
