Later he went to Rodez for job and began playing and recording songs in solo, Trying to integrate new influencies like "The pixies", "Smashing Pumpkins", "Deftones", "The Breeders", "Sonic Youth".

O.IQ : "Songs were not bad at all, but my recording technique was disastrous, I had to improve it"

Later, he spent several years playing reggae, jazz and dub and recently he returned to his early influences and releases his songs under the name "Oyster IQ"

O.IQ : "Well, I like reggae and dub, Burning Spear, Lee Perry, and reggae gives me an opportunity to improve my recording technique but in the long run, I was tired of reggae (and of bass finger play), so !"
