That Boy A.B. is is a 24 year old independent recording artist from New Jersey. He has built a loyal following through his catchy hooks and energetic performances. He has become a staple in Philadelphia's underground hip-hop scene, performing at numerous venues in Philadelphia, including the famous "Trocadero" venue on Arch Avenue.
2013 was been a positive year for A.B.. He won a cover competition through Indaba Music for his remix of Rihanna's "Diamonds", featuring local standout singer Janelle Miller. His mixtape, "imperfect." dropped at the end of July, and had 3,000 plays in its first two days, and got a great music review through LifeStyleEtc's website.
A.B. attended college at East Stroudsburg University for 2.5 years, where he excelled in Writing and Public Speaking. He dropped out after the fall 2009 semester due to legal trouble. He served 5 months in Monroe County Correctional Facility from March-September of 2010. He now owns and operates his own record label, Money Mouth Entertainment, which is based out of Philadelphia.
Over the last several years since his release, he has turned his life around. He now runs his own entertainment business out of North Philly and his massive social media presence has helped him excel in the business world.
