Antonio Franko, Mexican Born Singer/Songwriter
Who first began playing live with his first band along with his brother, (El Espiritu del jarron) in 1996 then he moved forward to San Diego Ca to Join (Sombras perdidas) 1998-2001, after this band broke up, he join in the spring of 2001 a promising band which later would come to be known as (Blizzard) from 2001 to 2006, after numerous releases and moderate success with the band. Antonio decided to explore his Inner roots and took an absence from the band in 2006 to concentrate on his projects.
2006 proved to be a success for Mr. Franko as he reemerged in Baja California with his new band (Fonema)2006-2009 The music the band made was self described as Electro-Acoustica, which follows in the movement of brit-pop bands like blur or even the enigmatic Richard Ashcroft , Or the lyrical playfulness of Pulp front man “Jarvis Cocker”.
