Big Foe / Bio

Big Foe - With his hard core, revolutionary, intelligent, substantive, lyrics will bring the real OGs back to the golden era, while providing the new era of Hiphop heads with a soundtrack to a movement all there own. Mixing heavy hitting intricate rhymes with smooth melodic harmonies, Big Foe creates mood music, quickly etching out a lane of his own that would be better described as a super highway. Rocking stages since a little kid and reppin' Craig Henry world wide, is Big Foe; staring in "Who killed the Master?" Big Foe - made his first appearance on vinyl in 2001 under the alias of Bonemarrow, co-producing the track "Money Remix" by Spyda aka Miracle Child, produced by Whosane?. In the same year with Whosane? producing, he recorded his first solo EP called "Watching You", with a lead single by the same name, and began doing shows at bars in and around Ottawa and Gatineau, Quebec. Inspired by the successes of rappers who were able to make the transition into acting like Tupac, and especially Ice Cube who was producing as well, Big Foe moved to New York City to study and perform in theater while pursuing his music.

In 2003 Big Foe recorded his second solo EP called Get Off My Balls. In 2004 Big Foe began featuring on tracks by the The Nomaadz out Brooklyn before joining a Queen based crew called BQE in 2005. By 2005 Big Foe was the the Associate Artistic Director of the Curan Repertory Theater Company, with several Off-Broadway, and Off-Off Broadway credits under his belt while splitting time between the stage and the studio. In the basement of a building in Woodside Queens, BQE and later SFE kept a strict recording regiment, at times recording dozen of tracks in a week. The click recorded several myspace mixtapes together consisting of well over 50 songs before disbanding in 2007. In 2008 Big Foe was featured on several tracks off Vancity's veteran emcee Kurt Scott's "Still I Rise" album. In 2011 Big Foe released the Big Foe Promo Mixtape. In 2012 Big Foe dropped his debut solo LP "Who Killed The Master."
