Music lovers in the Southeast, most notably Birmingham, the Florida Panhandle and now her new home in Nashville, are intimately familiar with Alice’s talents. She was the longtime vocalist and leader of the popular southeastern based group, “The Extras” for a decade, a featured songwriter at numerous festivals including the first 30-A Songwriter’s festival, several years at Frank Brown International Songwriter’s festival, Nashville’s Tin Pan South, and Birmingham’s City Stages . Her solo ventures and group collaborations have paved the way for opening spots with Bob Dylan, Patty Loveless, The Mavericks, Cheap Trick, Steve Wariner and David Wilcox, to name a few.
Since moving to Nashville in 2010, Alice has concentrated on further development of her own material, collaborated with some of Music City’s finest writers and thus landed her first publishing contract shortly after arriving. In between a full schedule of writer’s shows, she performed in the “Little Feat” tribute band, BIG SHOES, alongside friends and musicians from the touring groups behind Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett and Van Morrison. She is also a rotating member of the very successful BLACK JACKET SYMPHONY, a performing group who recreates classic albums in large-scale productions in theatres and concert halls across the southeast.
