Shackleford Brown / Bio

(bio circa 2000)

Shackleford is a five-piece all original modern day American rock and roll band that pulls inspiration from many strong sources. Combining elements of modern rock, classic rock, blues, and even vintage country from their home state of Texas. They have created a sound that is classic, yet modern, truly unique, and yet very familiar.

Performing in Dallas area venues as well as other cities throughout Texas for the past three years. Shackleford Brown has built a loyal fan base by consistently delivering, on and off of the stage. Along with this fan base comes a need for an album. Their first album tentatively titled "The Southern Distortion Revival," will surely fulfill that need. Set for a late summer release in 2001, Shackleford will continue to build their already strong fan base in Texas, expand regionally, and with the help of their growing family of "Shack Addicts." They are destined to be banned from at least three major national hotel chains, and maybe even a couple of states, because of false rumors and lies, that will be circulated through the awesome American media channels!
