Robbie Davis performs with the Robbie Davis Band and can be seen at the House of Blues on Sunset Avenue in Los Angelos, The Viper Club, The Mint, The Roxy, and other music venues. With his guitar at his fingertips, Robbie writes hard-driving country lyrics to take me home melodies, and performs with engaging, raw honesty. His most recent collaboration with lead guitarist and producer, Matthew Cheadle, is being released March 2015
Even though he’s been performing since age 5, and playing the guitar soon thereafter, Robbie did not jump in to music as a career early on. He grew up on a horse ranch in Plantation acres Florida and became a trained EMT, ocean lifeguard, fireman, Florida Everglades guide, and airboat captain. That all came to an end with severe injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident which left him unable to perform these duties. Fighting depression during his rehabilitation, Robbie visited Nashville and realized he had an opportunity to pursue music what he had always loved and he grabbed it with both hands! Well, one hand had a pencil to write lyrics and the other held a guitar. When he had the opportunity to perform at the famed Blue Bird Cafe, the owner quickly realized his talent and personality and he was hired as a host. This was Robbie’s master class in songwriting and performing since he studied and learned from the best in the business during his time there.
Not long after relocating to Nashville, Robbie was spotted by Talent Trek Agency and he began to get roles in regional and national television commercials, as well as many short films, and lead roles in several independent feature films. In 2008, Robbie and his wife, actress Christian Pitre-Davis, decided LA was where they needed to be to step up their career and they made the cross- country move.
When Robbie isn’t writing music or performing, he is a wrangler at Hollywood Sunset Ranch; guiding trail rides through the Santa Monica Mountains. Yep, this real deal cowboy can really sing and ride!
