Bio: Chronic Tone aka IZA first got involved with music as a kid in the early 90’s, and gradually became more focused on Hip-Hop as time progressed. He picked up the hobby of Beat-Boxing from acapella groups he saw perform, and developed that skill along with others such as freestyling, singing, DJing, making real beats and writing poetry as well as notebooks full of lyrics. In high school, talents in graphic/visual arts came naturally and won him awards at graduation. Now in college at Northeastern University, he is studying the music industry and production, and is rapidly acquiring professional skills and knowledge. Chronic Tone has released one album so far and is on the rise with a second. He has done shows in the Worcester and Boston areas as of 2010. The fan base ranges from colleges-kids to the hood to older generations and to even non-hip-hop listeners. Chronic Tone’s focus is on providing artistic entertainment to as many people possible.
