In 1995 Banely started recording his first Arabic Hip-Hop single. With very few artists to build on for inspiration, Banely broke unfettered grounds in the Hip-Hop world and paved the way for Arabic Hip-Hop artists. By 1998, Banely had performed at Beat-Machine 5 in an opening act for Run DMC in Lebanon. Later that year, Banely crossed paths with Waldo and Kita3 Beirut was born. In fact, Kita3 Beirut began with Banely's vision which later materialized in 1999 when the crew grew to include TMC, RGB, Billy Boy and Siska.
In 2001 Banely moved to Paris and with an adventurous spirit the rest of the crew picked themselves up and rendezvoused with Banely in Paris. Their first act as Kita3 Beirut, in Paris, was to perform in a cultural exchange between France and Lebanon (Cahor) in 2002. The next three years saw Kita3 Beirut performing in several venues and recording about 15 tracks together until the crew began dispersing with some of the members leaving the country.
The focus of our story begins in 2007; Banely starts working on his solo career, creating and recording his own music. And the story continues...
