Cindy Smith / Bio

Thank you for stopping by. Without folks to sing or to sing to, there would be no music. I thank the Good Lord for making beatiful voices everywhere, and for ears to appreciate them. AS for me, I’m a God-fearing, gun totin’ cowgirl... I LOVE the cowboy style... music, single action colts, the whole shooting gallery! I don’t like bragging or pattin’ myself on the back, but for my music bio, I’ll give you a few accolades. (and I’ll thank God for the glory). I’m a member of The Western Music Association, The Georgia Country Gospel Music Assn. (being 2011, 2012 and 2013 Songwriter of the Year, 2012 CD of the Year, 2013 CD (duo) of the year, NACMAI (North America Music Association) 2013 CD of the Year, 2013 Songwriter of the Year). I was inducted into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame in 2012. I'm a songwriter, singer and musician. Most of the songs here on RN are on based on the books I have written. I’ve performed at Hard Rock Cafe (Nashville and Atlanta), The Ernest Tubb Theatre and the Country Music Hall of Fame (Nashville), as the highlights in my short career. I’m not sure where I fit into the music world but I guess I have my own style. I was influenced early on by Mary Robbins, Rose Maddox, The Carter Family and Patsy Montana. If you put a little western, country, bluegrass and yodeling in a bucket and shake it up, I'm what you get. Along with my book co-writer, we wrote the novel titled, TIME IN CONTENTION. It’s a story based on actual events surrounding the gunfight at the OK Coral (published by RedDoc Entertainment). Since then, I’ve written “A Cowgirl’s Taste for Life” and a children’s series titled, “Cowboy World”. THANK YOU SO MUCH for LISTENING!!!! Let me know what you think. ***Cindy***
