The Band is led by renowned Idaho musician, Matthew Hartz. Shaped by many musical influences and experiences. Matthew has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, won the World Championship, National Championship twice, Grand Masters Fiddle Championship and produced the soundtrack to award winning PBS documentary “Idaho Rhapsody”. Although Matthew primarily plays guitar and handles lead vocals he regularly incorporates fiddle in numerous ways.
With over 25 years of experience as a professional musician Brad Nelson has played for hundreds of thousands of audience members locally and abroad. An outstanding guitar player who can rock with the best of them, he also has a passion for Middle Eastern/World Music. As well as electric and acoustic guitar, Brad plays Sitar and Oud; both traditional middle eastern instruments. After receiving his B.A in Music Performance and Instruction Brad spent the past 20 years teaching and playing with numerous original and cover bands. Brad is a staple of the local music scene and brings his own musical ingenuity to what ever he plays.
Michael Toolson is a phenomenal guitarist and basist. He has played with numerous bands and groups in the area and his uncanny sense of groove and rhythm definitely lay down a firm foundation for the band.
