Since her introduction to the piano at age 5, recording artist, singer and songwriter Angelique Henle fell in love with music. Angelique is an incredibly talented musician whose music is riveting and soulful.
With her passion for music and life, Angelique’s songs are meaningful; having been written from her own experiences, with stories we can all relate to.
Angelique’s folk-rock style has been compared to that of Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, and other female singer/songwriters; while also creating her own unique style of music. She has been inspired by many artist during her writing career along with music legends James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, and others.
She has a captivating stage presence and penetrating voice that fills the senses and mesmerizes her audience. Her music and genuine style has earned her a dedicated fan base which continues to grow as more people experience her music.
Angelique has been performing at a variety of venues including Towson State University Arena, Rams Head Live Concert Hall, Bourbon Street Ballroom, Baltimore Pride Festival, Edgestock Music Festival '09 & '10, Headliner for 2009 Maryland Special Olympics Summer Games Opening Ceremonies, 2010 Polar Bear Plunge for Maryland Special Olympics with crowds of 30K+, MD Book Festival, Maryland Artscape Festival, Many NY City clubs including The Bitter End, The Delancey, National Underground, and in Los Angeles California at The Mint.
Having received radio and television airplay on Baltimore's top rock station 98 Rock WIYY, WRNR and WBAL TV, Angelique's amazing musical talent had not gone unnoticed as she was signed to East coast indie label, Kabunk Records for two years. Angelique's Debut Album, "PHOTOGRAPH" was released under Kabunk Records as of June 2010 and can be downloaded on iTunes and on Amazon.com.
Although Kabunk Records and Angelique have parted ways, Angelique is still pursuing her career in music and playing shows in Baltimore City and surrounding areas regularly.
Angelique has also joined forces with two band Projects on two different ends of the genre spectrum. She sings, plays guitar, and the Djembe for a regularly gigging Band called C.O.V.E. - Children Of a Vivid Eden which features many 90's and listening favorite cover songs, as well as original compositions.
