Gulley / Bio

They cut their teeth covering Steely Dan; they didn’t even know what a Bodhisattva was. As any south paw should, Chobey emulated Jimi Hendrix. Those were different times and many bands ago which lacked a signature sound.

Gulley is now. Gulley is a rock band fronted by brothers Chobey and Nick Badgio. The sound is Woodstock 69 meets early 90’s college radio rock. An elaboration can be heard on Salem, Gulley’s 10 song album recorded at Mitch Easter’s Fidelitorium Recordings in 2013 and released earlier this year. The tank is not empty, though. Chobey and Nick have their signature on songs yet to be recorded. They are different, but still Gulley. Because they are “never going back to their old school”.
