Julie Hufstetler is a Christian recording artist and songwriter who has performed alongside recording artist Mark Schultz and noted speakers like Sheila Walsh, Dee Brestin and Nancy Leigh DeMoss. As a north east Ohio native , Julie has also sung at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Dinner and Queen's Pageant.
Her song “Speak What I Believe” won grand prize in the Write About Jesus Songwriting competition. She has songs published by LifeWay Christian Resources, Worship Today and Word Music. Julie has two full albums of original songs as well as recorded singles. Her music is also on iTunes, Amazon, Pandora, and other internet sites.
Julie met her husband, Guy in their church youth chorale when they were both in their teens. They were married in 1984 and are have continued to be involved in church music. The Chapel's Green Campus in Green Ohio, is their home church where they both serve in worship and music. Guy and Julie have three grown sons, Paul, Jesse and Cody which are a great source of pride and joy and the couples' favorite people to hang out with.
Julie's music is inspired by prayer, scripture and great sermons. She gets some of her best ideas while weeding her flower gardens and ironing. If you happen to see her staring off into the distance, she is probably writing a song in her head.
