Awesome music! I love the natural acoustic sound. If you're ever looking for a studio to work with let me know. I love working with bands who are into preserving natural tones. -Ben

"Sitting still is nearly impossible while the Juncos perform. The Santa Cruz-based outfit brings a rich cocktail of jug, roots, Americana, folk and rockabilly to its live shows and their energetic presence is always infectious. Founders Josh Lowe (banjo, guitar and vocals) and Jeff Kissell (double bass and vocals) lead the trail of foot-stomping jaunts mostly made up of originals, though they throw in a Pogues cover every now and again. The opening track of the Juncos album At the Feet of Old Bristlecone, "Not Sick of Love," sounds like a crossbreed of the Avett Brothers and Bon Iver highlighted by Lowe's unique, throaty voice."
