“The choice belonged to them. They could stay with the band they'd created and continue playing songs they weren't happy with. Or, they could start a new band. One with no name recognition that would play songs so out-there that it'd be difficult for any venue to book them and any fans to grab on. The members of Pearl Heart couldn't help it. They had to go with their guts. They left their old band, formed the new one and now work like dogs to get the word out. But its the music they love to play. "We were too trendy", lead guitarist Kevin said. "We were all fitting the mold, and now we can play what we want". "It's the kind of sound we were looking for", vocalist Chuck Daniel said. "It was a missing piece in all of us. It opened a new door to creating what we want." Although their upcoming album isn't out yet, Daniel is already thinking about the album he wants to put out in '09. It's a big undertaking - a concept album with intertwined lyrics and music on each track, along with a book.”
