Bio: The Historic Blairstown Theatre is the centerpiece of Blairstown NJ's vintage Main Street, surrounded by charming shops, galleries and restaurants. The emphasis in on live music at the HBT but theatrical performances, classic film and community events are all vital to mission of this member supported not-for-profit theater. The 100 year-old theatre was purchased locally in 2011, rescued from abandonment by its former owners, and is now emerging as one of New Jersey's most intimate, engaging and dynamic arts venues. The lobby and hallways of the HBT are adorned with vintage photographs, original paintings and mixed media by local artists, adding to the funky atmosphere of this cozy art house. A friendly and cheerful crew of staff and volunteers are on hand to welcome theater-goers and make certain that they get the most out of the HBT experience. The theater's facilities and equipment are consistently upgraded and maintained by a highly experienced team of industry professionals dedicated to providing audiences with the very best.
