Gabe's has been a mainstay venue in Iowa City for many many years, featuring many great acts at the beginnings of their careers, including: Nirvana, Modest Mouse, Smashing Pumpkins, John Mayer, Grizzly Bear, and the Dirty Projectors.

Unfortunately, the original Gabe's Oasis shut its doors in 2006, to re-open as The Picador. But now, Gabe's has returned under new ownership and we are ready to carry on the legacy of the original Gabe's.
