“The mixtape "Invisible Music" was inspired by the book "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison. I chose the title "Invisible Music" since I feel that my music is invisible, meaning, it exists but it is never acknowledged, even when it's raising social awareness that everyone is lacking in this time. This project is quite different and unique from all of my other projects I have done. The ideas are quite complex, the mastering of the songs is different (even though I used the echo effects often, it serves the purpose of making the words ring into the listeners ear). The recording was interesting as I would listen to the instrumentals, jot down all the ideas, write the songs, and then record them. This recipe gave me time to perfect each idea and a hunger to write more songs. Hopefully by the time you finish listening to the CD I would have proven my assertion that my music should not be invisible. #I.M.”
