"Few bands can span styles and generations to keep a diverse room of rock, folk, indie, gospel, and country fans glued to the stage. Having The Wayside perform at our venue's two-show anniversary celebration was a fitting tribute to our five years of musical transcendence. The band seems as though they'd be equally at home in a coffeehouse, pub, church, or club. Their own songs sound like they should be covered, and their cover songs sound like their own. Mixing intelligent songwriting with Michelle's haunting melodies, John's vocal and instrumental ingenuity, and some of the best backing players that Nashville has to offer, something special can happen on any given night.
