Bio: Listen to the whispers of the wind and you can faintly make out the beginning of their tale. Not a story of conquest or tyranny, but a parable just the same. Q: Where do you get the inspiration for your lyrics?
A: Inspiration comes in many forms and fashions in our lives. Generally we keep our eyes and ears open for new ideas. One main inspiration is the feeling that music brings as we play. Sometimes the journey to reach a perfect unison between rhythm, harmony, and melody can be arduous, but the end result, when everything flows together, elicits a swelling of emotion that can humble a person. This may take time to realize in a new band or with a new instrument, so patience is the key. When you find it, you just want to jump head first in that flowing river every chance you get. Some of our lyrics have been written in reference to different decisions, people, or aspects of life that will submerge a person in negativity or depression and the struggle to break free. The ties that bind us down to doubt and insecurity should be cut. These anchors are akin to the theft of innocence. The touch of a woman plays a big factor as well. As the fairer sex, women have the uncanny ability to tempt, tease, and command attention. A woman can bring a person to their knees before it is realized and can bend them to her will. Men can exhibit these traits as well, but can't deliver a crushing blow so eloquently. Females are truly works of moving art that continue to amaze and bewilder.
